Abimis: kitchens at high altitude

A getaway far from the hustle and bustle of the city, but also the ideal setting for more free creative experimentation, mountain houses, in their different interpretations, provide a blank canvas from which to start again, a meeting point between tradition and modernity. The interior choices pursue their stratified identity, with precise design and decorative directions, and see the mixture of materials linked to the local area and the make-believe of the place – such as wood and stone – alongside latest generation metals or finishes.

Abimis stainless steel kitchens, with their professional soul, stand out in high-altitude residential designs, in dialogue with the warm and welcoming mountain atmospheres. Freely customisable in different finishes, such as hand-orbitally polished, mirror polished or painted, AISI 304 stainless steel translates into functional kitchen blocks, which can be accessorised with any appliance even of professional derivation, and configured as an island or along a wall, to accommodate large or small spaces. The configuration to the centimetre, in line with the design needs, and the ample possibility to customise every aesthetic or technical detail make Abimis products extremely versatile.

The Ego lines with their rounded and generous shapes, designed by Alberto Torsello, and Atelier, with its more rigorous but versatile layout, thus become flexible design tools, while the possibility of inserting rounded handles, also in brass, allows the Alpine setting to be embellished with an elegant reference to tradition and a precious nuance. The tops of islands or wall blocks can also be customised, in stone or marble, to ensure continuity with the palette used in the interior.

For winter outdoor settings, however, together with Studio Delineo and Massimo Rosati, Abimis has designed Àtria, also available in AISI 316 steel. A modular kitchen for outdoor use, also equipped with utensils for making cocktails, for enjoying sociable times in the open air, with a view of the mountains.
