Ten new awards for Studio Apostoli

Since June 2023, the leading studio in the wellness & hospitality sector has garnered several new international accolades.

It has been a year rich in milestones for Studio Apostoli, active for over 25 years in integrated design and consultancy for the wellness & hospitality sectors. The studio has received ten new international awards for projects and product designs, as well as awards dedicated to the career of its founder, Alberto Apostoli.

Architect and product designer, expert in the field and opinion leader, Apostoli was awarded the SiriusAcademyAward 2023 – Best Contemporary Sustainable Luxury Architecture. The award, created by the international association HoteliersGuild, which gathers the foremost hospitality leaders from around the world, is annually bestowed upon personalities who have inspired their respective sectors with their vision and innovation and who have been able to anticipate trends with new design solutions.

In the realm of sustainability, Lefay Resort & SPA Gargnano, a 5-star hospitality establishment undergoing a significant biennial redesign by Studio Apostoli, has achieved the World Spa & Wellness Award 2024 in the category of Best Sustainable SPA of the Year. Developed across a total area of 4,300 square meters, the wellness centre embodies the green philosophy of the entire luxury resort. This is reflected not only in sustainable choices regarding energy supply and the reduction of CO2 emissions but also in its attention to the environmental context, integrating areas harmoniously with the local terrain and its morphological and landscape features. Additionally, the same facility has also been honoured with the Italian Pool Award 2023 – Commercial Indoor category, specifically for its heated indoor pool, which complements the extensive offerings of the SPA articulated in three main areas.

For the 2024 edition, another project by Studio Apostoli, the AgriRelais and SPA Casale del Principe, received the same recognition: the infinity outdoor pool of the ancient farmhouse just a few kilometres from Palermo won in the Commercial Outdoor category.

A manifesto project of harmony with nature and vegetation, Prehistoriche Green Lodge, has earned the LIV Hospitality Design Awards 2024 in the Architectural Design Lodge category and the International Architecture & Design Awards 2024 with a Platinum Winner mention within a few months. Closing the awards dedicated to projects is the wellness area of Casa Cipriani, a luxury five-star hotel in the heart of Milan, which received the TOP ID Awards by NEWH for Top International Design and the International Design Award 2023 in the Hospitality Interior Design category. Comprising a SPA and fitness area on two levels, totalling over 1,000 square meters, the SPA offers an engaging environment capable of stimulating all five senses and an evocative interior that pays homage to the Italian culture of beauty and creativity.

Alberto Apostoli also received the International Design Award 2023 in the product design segment – Wellness and Beauty Products for Pearl, a unique natural stone bathtub with an integrated Airpool system designed for Kreoo. Additionally, the Wellness Therapy collection designed for Varaschin also received the Archiproducts Design Awards 2023: the system of furnishing complements dedicated to the world of spas and wellness centres, which is modular, customisable, and composed, excelled in the Wellness category.
